1) What is Touchstone Connections?
Touchstone Connections is a children-focused community business offering enriching activities such as workshops, and special events designed to build confidence, connection, and creativity in kids, including neurodivergent learners and children on the autism spectrum.
2) What ages are your events for?
Our events and programs are typically designed for children in kindergarten through 5th grade, though some events may include older or younger age groups. Each event listing includes the recommended age/grade range.
3) Are events drop-off or do parents stay?
Most Touchstone events are drop-off experiences to help kids build independence and fully engage in the activity. Each event will clearly state whether it is drop-off or parent-attended. Parents are always welcome to stay if needed however, drop-off is encouraged whenever possible so children can fully participate and parents can enjoy a well deserved break.
4) Where are events located?
Touchstone Connections events take place in the Cary, NC area. For the safety and privacy of children and families, we may not publicly post exact addresses for certain events. Exact location details are provided after registration.
5) Do I need to register in advance?
Yes. Pre-registration is required for almost all events.
We plan materials and staffing in advance, and many events have limited spots.
6) What is your refund policy?
Because space is limited and materials are purchased in advance, all registrations are final and we do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
7) What if my child has allergies or sensitivities?
We do our best to create a safe and welcoming environment. If your child has allergies or sensitivities, please include that information during registration.

8) Can my child attend if they have special needs?
Yes! Touchstone Connections welcomes all learners, including children with disabilities. We strive to create an inclusive environment and encourage parents/guardians to use discretion when choosing events that feel like a good fit.
If your child benefits from specific supports, you are welcome to share that information during registration so we can better support them.
9) What should my child wear or bring?
For most events, kids do not need to bring anything unless stated. We recommend:

12) Will photos be taken during events?
We may take photos during events for marketing purposes (website/social media). We respect privacy and do not use identifiable images of children without parent/guardian permission.
